Membership and Engagement Lead

Originally from Italy, Dr. Roberta Marcoli is a passionate science communicator with over 10 years of experience in the seafood industry and a PhD in aquaculture and genetics. She has worked across the globe—from pearl oyster farms in French Polynesia to research roles in New Zealand and Australasia—gaining a deep understanding of the industry.

Roberta now works with Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA) as Membership and Engagement Coordinator, where she combines her love for networking, leadership, and championing opportunities for women in seafood.
