WHAT WE DO

Women in Seafood Australasia (WISA) is the only national organisation representing women working in the seafood industry.

WISA is a unique network covering the tough world of commercial fishing and aquaculture, postharvest, cutting edge research, policy and resource management.

WISA are working towards the following four priorities:

Engage

Create, build and maintain engagement opportunities for women that live and work in the seafood industry.

Inform

Create and provide two way effective communication and long term processes that achieve this.

Capacity Build

Provide platforms to improve the capabilities and capacity of women that work in Seafood Industries in Australia.

Governance

Build an effective, high functioning Board that provides projects and activities that improve the visibility of seafood women in Australia.
