Stephanie Margrain

Appointed Director

Stephanie Margrain joined the board of Women in Seafood Australasia in October 2025, bringing more than a decade of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement experience across the Australian seafood sector.

She works as the Communications Manager at Sydney Fish Market where she drives initiatives in government relations, media strategy, and community engagement. Her work has centred on building understanding and collaboration across a diverse industry, from harvest to postharvest.

Stephanie has served on the Board of Seafood Industry Australia since 2022. She currently chairs SIA’s Corporate Governance Committee, playing a central role in enhancing board processes and ensuring best practice governance.

Stephanie is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Communications.
