WORKSHOPS AT SEAFOOD DIRECTIONS
Breaking barriers for seafood women
WISA and Affectus are excited to deliver a workshop designed especially for Seafood Women, funded by FRDC. It is open to all women from all sectors of the industry, whether you work in getting seafood to the table or work with the industry to help it thrive.
We have been listening to women working in the industry and it feels like the time is now to start taking actions to create change for women. In this facilitated workshop, we will be discussing shared critical issues impacting women today. We will problem solve together to find tangible recommendations that you, your community, organisation, and the broader industry can implement. This workshop will also form the basis of WISA advocacy and activities into the future.
Communicating with Impact
Brought to you by Honey & Fox Pty Ltd for WISA.
Creating and sharing stories is the fastest and easiest way to achieve impact. Whether you are in the seafood business, a researcher or work in government, if you need to communicate with people and have them remember what you said and take action then this workshop is for you.
The team from Honey & Fox, authors of Storytelling for Success, will facilitate this 3 hour highly interactive (and fun) workshop where you will learn why stories are so effective and how to use this to power up your communications. At the end of workshop, you will have One Story Done and you will leave with the tools to create more whenever you need to.
