Turn the Tide Mentoring

Turn the Tide Mentoring Program

WISA are running a free facilitated mentor program to help women progress in their careers in the seafood industry. We are looking for mentors and mentees to participate. The program will match women at all stages of their careers with mentors, and we will be with you to support you both along the way.

Applications for the 2023 program have closed.

Why is mentoring important?

Mentoring is a planned pairing of a more experienced person with a lesser skilled individual for the purpose of achieving mutually agreed outcomes. It is a partnership in which both individuals share in a growth process and the personal development of one another.

What is Turn the Tide mentoring?

The Turn the Tide mentoring program puts two people together to learn from each other. A mentor and mentee will be skilled, profiled and paired together for a 12 month program.

The mentoring pairs will be provided with skills sessions and materials to ensure that the mentoring relationship is productive and supportive.
